Cancellation and Refund Policy

DHEL Universal Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to transparency and donor trust. We value the contributions of every supporter and aim to ensure your experience with us is smooth and satisfactory. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully.

1. Donations

• All donations made to DHEL Universal Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable, as per standard practices for charitable organizations under the Indian Trusts Act and Income Tax Act.
• Once a donation is processed successfully through our Platform or third-party payment gateway, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, unless there is a clear technical error (such as duplicate transactions).

2. Duplicate or Fraudulent Transactions

• In case of a duplicate payment or unauthorized transaction, kindly notify us within 7 working days of the transaction date by emailing us at info@dhelfoundation.org or calling us at 7722094171.
• After verifying the details, if the claim is found valid, the amount will be refunded to the original source account within 7 to 14 business days.

3. Campaign Contributions

• If you donate to a specific campaign or project and it is later cancelled, we will contact you to:
  • Redirect your funds to a similar cause/project, or
  • Provide a refund upon your written request, depending on the situation.

4. Tax Exemption Certificate

• Currently, we do not provide tax exemption certificates as the certification process is still underway. Donors are advised to retain their donation receipts for record-keeping purposes.

5. Event or Merchandise Ticket Refunds

• If you have registered or purchased tickets for a DHEL event or campaign:
  • Cancellations will only be entertained up to 48 hours before the event.
  • A partial or full refund may be issued at the discretion of the Foundation, excluding convenience/processing charges.
